FOCUSTEL DMCC is proud to announce its official admission as an Associate Member of ITU-R Study Group 5 within the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), under the SME participation framework.

This milestone reinforces FOCUSTEL’s commitment to actively engage in the global telecommunications ecosystem and contribute to the development of international standards and spectrum policies.


Driving Global Spectrum and Radiocommunication Initiatives

ITU-R Study Group 5 is responsible for terrestrial radiocommunication services, including International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT), spectrum management, and electromagnetic compatibility. Through this membership, FOCUSTEL will participate in technical studies and international discussions that shape the future of wireless communications.

The company will contribute to ongoing work supporting key global initiatives, including preparations for the World Radiocommunication Conference 2027 (WRC-27).


Strengthening FOCUSTEL’s Role in the MENA Region

With a strong presence across the Middle East and North Africa, FOCUSTEL continues to support regulators and operators through:
