Isa Barshushi is the visionary founder and CEO  FOCUSTEL DMCC in Dubai. With over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and IT sectors, Isa has been a driving force behind innovative network solutions and strategic technology deployments across the MENA region.

He holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from the University of Newcastle, UK, and has earned numerous certifications from global leaders including Ericsson, VIAVI, and JDSU. His expertise spans fiber optics, mobile technologies (2G to 5G), network testing, project management, and strategic business development.

Isa began his career in Libya, contributing to the early infrastructure of the country’s mobile networks. He was one of the founding members of Libyan Mobile Phone and played a central role in radio network planning, performance optimization, and network assurance. Over the years, he has held key leadership roles with organizations such as Libya Telecom & Technology, Al Madar Al Jadeed, and ADALIL Telecom.

At Adalil Telecom, Issa leads a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering advanced telecom solutions, training programs, and consulting services. He is also a certified trainer for optical fiber and mobile technologies and has delivered workshops and technical courses for both academic institutions and industry professionals.

In addition to his corporate leadership, Issa is an active researcher, having co-authored international papers on 5G signal propagation and modulation performance. His commitment to excellence, continuous learning, and technological innovation continues to shape the future of telecom solutions in the region.

Dr. Naji Albakay is a telecommunications and optical networking specialist with deep expertise in RF systems, LTE network design, and next-generation optical communications. As Senior RF Expert at FOCUSTEL, he leads high-level technical support, interference analysis, and advanced LTE training initiatives.

He holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where his research focused on QAM transmitters for optical networks. His career spans roles in academia, telecom R&D, and engineering, with past positions at the Ministry of Communication in Libya, Alcatel-Lucent, and ADALIL Telecom. Naji is also a published researcher with over a dozen peer-reviewed papers on wireless and optical communications.

Ahmed Zedan is a telecom and IT expert with over 10 years of experience in network infrastructure, fiber optics, and IP/Ethernet testing. As Technical Manager/Project Manager at FOCUSTEL, he leads the implementation of advanced communication systems, including structured cabling, CCTV networks, and wireless solutions.
