FOCUSTEL Participates in Africa Spectrum Conference and ATU APM27-3 in Tunis

Tunis, Tunisia | 7–11 September 2026

FOCUSTEL was pleased to participate in a productive week of spectrum discussions in Tunis, joining regulators, policymakers, industry leaders and technical experts from across Africa and beyond.

FOCUSTEL participated as an Exhibitor & Networking Partner at the 11th Africa Spectrum Management Conference, held on 7 September, followed by participation in the 3rd African Preparatory Meeting for WRC-27 (APM27-3) from 8–11 September.

As part of our technical engagement, FOCUSTEL also contributed a literature review on WRC-27 Agenda Item 1.7, supporting discussions on sharing and compatibility studies for potential IMT use in the 4 400–4 800 MHz, 7 125–8 400 MHz and 14.8–15.35 GHz frequency ranges.

The week provided an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge with African administrations, understand emerging regulatory priorities, strengthen partnerships and discuss developments in spectrum management, monitoring, IMT, NTN, EMF, GNSS resilience and next-generation connectivity.

FOCUSTEL remains committed to supporting evidence-based spectrum management and the development of future telecommunications across Africa and the region.
